I’m sewing along with Quilting Jetgirl’s Push-Pull quilt. Here’s my progress so far: I really like the color I picked and I think it’s really coming together nicely! Can’t wait to see the finished product. ❤️
I kept waffling about what fabric I wanted to use for this quilt. Should I buy something? Should I shop my stash? One of my resolutions for 2020 was to cut back on my quilting spending, so I dug through my stash and found the kit for the 2019 Summer Sampler that I never made.… Continue reading In Progress – Paper Chain BOM – Block #1
Woohoo!! I finished all 100 blocks!! Now, I just need to get them all sewed together into a quilt top. I decided I’m not going to have any sashing, but I haven’t decided what order to put them in yet. I’ll probably end up taking all of them to homeschool co-op and lay them all… Continue reading In Progress – #100Days100Blocks2019 – Blocks 82-100
Eighteen more blocks done, so I’m almost finished with this one! 😀
I never posted any progress photos of this one apparently! 😀 It’s a free sew along on the Fat Quarter Shop blog, using the Triangles on a Roll book by It’s Sew Emma. It was so fun and fast to make! I used Corey Yoder’s Strawberry Jam fabric that I’ve been obsessed with for months… Continue reading In Progress – Eight Carat Quilt
I’ve finished up the first twelve blocks for my Granny’s Garden quilt. I love everything Lori Holt designs, so of course I had to make this one. I still have to appliqué the circles onto the background squares, but I’m going to do all of that right at the end, after all the circles are… Continue reading In Progress – Granny’s Garden – Blocks 1-12
I have FINALLY finished the top for my 2017 Designer Mystery Block of the Month quilt!!! I kept putting it off because of the one million flying geese blocks in the finishing kit. Once I started them, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. 😀 Once I get a couple back from… Continue reading In Progress – 2017 Designer Mystery Block of the Month
This sew along has been so much fun! I’ve loved seeing everyone else’s blocks posted on Instagram and in the Facebook group. There are so many different color and fabric combinations. I can’t wait to see everyone’s finished quilts too!
I just realized that I never blogged about my Bee Happy quilt at the State Fair of Virginia. Shame on me for not bragging about my win! 😀 I entered in the machine appliqué category and Bee Happy won the blue ribbon! I was very excited to see that ribbon on my quilt.
Today was block #45! I can’t wait to see all of these blocks together when I’m done. These colors are so fun!
