Finished!!

FINISHED!! – Dr. Who Tardis Mini Quilt

An online parenting group I’m a member of asked for volunteers to make small thank you gifts for the admins of the site. They do such a great job of keeping us on task and in line that I volunteered. I was assigned to a person who loves Dr. Who, so I thought this project was perfect! I used a freebie pattern from Craftsy and added a small border to make it a little larger. I used Insul-Bright instead of batting so it could also be used as a hot pad or trivet. This was my first foray into foundation paper piecing anything but my X Spot block for the Summer Sampler 2016 quilt. It took quite a bit of time, especially on this top portion with all the super tiny pieces:

I finally got the entire block done and added the border:
