In Progress – Halloween Figs
I loved making my Christmas Figs quilt so much, that when Halloween Figs was announced, I knew I would have to make it too. I just finished the blocks for month one. Aren’t they cute? 😀

Of course, I have one million projects in progress, so why not add another one, right? 😀 I’ve just started the 2019 Designer Mystery BOM from Fat Quarter Shop. I did all the cutting for the finishing kit a few days ago and finally made the first blocks today. I just love this fabric line… Continue reading In Progress – 2019 Designer Mystery Block of the Month
I’ve finally finished this quilt top. It’s taken forever because the pattern was so incredibly frustrating. I’m glad to have it finished though! I’m just waiting on my backing fabric to get here and then I can ship it off to my quilter. 🙂
I’ve finished up the blocks for Fat Quarter Shop’s Merry Mini Quilt. I used the Snow Day line by Stacy Iest Hsu. These were so fun that I’m going to make a second set using a Kate Spain North Woods layer cake that I’ve been hoarding.
I’m participating in Gnome Angel’s #100Days100Blocks2019 Sew Along. I’ve finished 18 blocks in 18 days so far! I’m using Kona solids in Flame, Mango, and Canary, a color scheme I blatantly stole from Quilting Jetgirl’s Sparkler Mini Quilt, except I’ve added in Sour Apple as well. I needed a fourth color for some of the… Continue reading In Progress – #100Days100Blocks2019 – Blocks 1-18

So, over a year ago, I took part in the #bclogcabinswapagain on Instagram. I made and mailed off my blocks and received a gorgeous package of blocks from all over the world. I put them in a bin and promptly forgot about them. (Story of my life.) I finally remembered them a couple of weeks… Continue reading In Progress – Bonnie & Camille Log Cabin Quilt
I can’t believe I haven’t posted any pictures of this quilt! I joined up with Yvonne’s Wayward Transparency Quilt Along back in September. I’ve been wanting to make a monochromatic quilt in shades of beachy blues for quite a while and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I chose Kona Solids in Ruby Ice, Robin’s… Continue reading In Progress – Wayward Transparency Quilt
So, I didn’t mean to add another project to the dozen or so that I have in progress right now, but when I saw the new Spelling Bee book from Lori Holt, I couldn’t help myself. I’m using scraps from my Bee Happy Quilt and I bought a fat quarter bundle of Bee Basics to… Continue reading In Progress – Spelling Bee Quilt
A couple of weeks ago, Fat Quarter Shop posted a really cute tutorial for a Halloween pillow on their blog. It’s called Gone Batty Pillow. I loved the bat appliqué, but I knew I didn’t want to make a pillow. I was organizing my Sew Simple Shapes that I use for appliqué and thought one… Continue reading In Progress – Halloween Mini Quilt
