Yay! I just finished up the binding on my Stars & Stripes Quilt!! A cute little red and white gingham binding, of course!! The background is adorable too. It’s Cherries & Pears from the Vintage Picnic line by Bonnie & Camille for Moda.
Here’s a closer view of the quilting by Robin at Ormond Beach Quilts:
And the whole finished quilt out on our deck railing:

This is my fourth finish for the 2016 Finish-A-Long – 3rd Quarter.
The quilting really works with this quilt. It’s like the flags are swaying in the breeze. The aqua sashing is unexpected an lovely.
What a gorgeous finish! Love the fabrics you chose. And the wavy quilting makes it look like the flags are flowing in the breeze! Must have inspired the wind to cause your #quiltphotographyproblems
It looks great! I like how the quilting gives some motion to the flags. 🙂
This is adorable! 🙂
Lovely finish Laurel! The sashing color really sets off the flags.
It’s beautiful! Thanks for linking to Finished or Not Friday!
