Finished!!

FINISHED!! – Minecraft Quilt

It’s finally done and my daughter can’t wait to get her hands on it! This quilt may be finished, but my Minecraft quilting isn’t done yet. I bought a couple of pillow forms last time I was at IKEA and I’m going to make a couple of matching pillows at some point. I just need her to pick the patterns she wants from the multitude of bonus patterns that have been released. Which reminds me, I want to thank Kelli @ Seriously…I Think It Needs Stitchesso much for all of these patterns! I’ve been wanting to make a Minecraft quilt for a while, but the thought of charting out all those characters made me crazy. I’m glad someone else did all the heavy lifting for me! 😀

Here’s the front of the quilt:

And the back with the super scary Ender Dragon:

I used the Spell It With Fabric letters by Moda to make my daughter’s name.

This is my second finish for the 2016 Finish-A-Long – 3rd Quarter.

  1. Oh my GOODNESS! This is such a monumental finish! The colours are great and that boxy quilting was the perfect choice. I don’t blame your daughter for wanting to snuggle up in this fab quilt!

  2. Fabulous quilt!! I’m so sad my grandkids are out of the Minecraft stage ~ I would have loved to make one for them. Yours is extra special with that dragon on the back ~ like I said, FABULOUS!

  3. Hi I love the quilt you made. I just finished a Minecraft quilt for my grandson. What color thread and design did you use on your long arm quilting. Thank you
