My sashing fabric arrived, so I was able to get the quilt top put together! I used Aqua Spot from the Vintage Picnic line by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. I also bought Navy Cherries & Pears from the same line to use as my backing fabric and Small Red Gingham by Riley Blake for the binding. I love a cute gingham binding! 🙂

As usual, the wind was my enemy while trying to get a good picture of the top. I got several shots that were similar to this:
I can’t wait to get this one off to the quilter and finished up! 🙂
The aqua is a fun, summery contrast to the bolder red, white, and blue flags. How big did the quilt top finish?
