I gifted this quilt at a baby shower this past Sunday, so now I can finally show the finished product! I really loved making this quilt. This fabric line is so wonderful. It’s perfect for my neighbor’s baby because our neighborhood is at the beach. 🙂
The beautiful bubble quilting is by Robin at Ormond Beach Quilts as usual. She always does such a wonderful job! 🙂
I love the backing fabric with the jellyfish and octopus figures. So cute!
I just love these labels!
I rolled the quilt up and tied it with a leftover piece of binding. I tucked the card in behind the bow and put it in a gift bag. Easy peasy!
This is my first finish for the 2016 Finish-A-Long – 3rd Quarter.
what a beautiful baby quilt; do you know about how large it finished? I hope the mom to be was thrilled with it and that the quilt will get a lot of love and use.
Thanks, Yvonne! I made 72 blocks that were 8 inches unfinished and then arranged the top as 8 blocks by 9 blocks, so all finished it was about 60 inches by 68 inches. I like to make my baby quilts larger than most so that they can be used longer. 🙂
A very pretty quilt, great fabric choice, and gorgeous quilting!
Such a cute baby quilt! I love that fabric line! I hope Baby loves it for years!
Oh I like this ALOT! Thanks for joining in the FAL on behalf of the cohosts!
