I know I say this every time I post one of these blocks, but I’m having so much fun making this quilt! Block 5 is called Sugarhouse and I used Kona solids – white, Jamaica and Persimmon. This turquoise and orange color scheme is really speaking to me. 🙂

I admire your discipline. I’ve signed up for a couple of QAL’s and never completed the blocks during the time period. But, QALs are a great way to try new things like working with a different color palette than you might use.
