Long time no blog post! I know, I know! Sometimes I get so involved with my projects that I only want to sew and the blog gets ignored. Plus, we started a new year of homeschool in August and that always throws me off for a while too. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I’m quilting along with Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs<\/a> and her new Magnolia Mystery Quilt<\/a>. I chose a Christmas-y color scheme for this one and I’m really liking how it’s coming out!<\/p>\n

Here are my fabric selections after the initial cutting instructions:

The first month’s sewing instructions had us make a lovely stack of half square triangles:

And of course you know how I love trimming photos:

The second month’s sewing instructions were for half flying geese:

I’m actually caught up on this one for now, so I’m waiting excitedly for next month’s instructions. Can’t wait to see what Cheryl has up her sleeve for us!
