I finally decided to send my North Woods HST Strip Quilt<\/a> off to Robin at Ormond Beach Quilts<\/a> for her to quilt it. We decided on Wonderland Stars 2<\/a> for the quilting pattern. Here’s a close-up of how that came out.<\/p>\n

I chose Cranberry Rosemaling<\/a> and Icicle Garland<\/a>, both from the North Woods line for the backing and binding respectively. Here’s a shot that shows both of those lovely fabrics.<\/p>\n

As soon as I finished the binding, I had to get a picture of how pretty this quilt turned out to be! I threw it over the railing of the deck outside our bedroom and snapped a few photos.<\/p>\n

We were leaving the next day for a week’s vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, so I brought it along. I wanted to show it to my sister-in-law, since she and my brother and their adorable son were meeting us there. I decided to take a few more pictures while we were there.<\/p>\n
