After the Stars & Stripes quilt pattern was released by Thimble Blossoms<\/a>, they started popping up all over Instagram and Facebook. I finally decided that it was too cute and I needed one too. Fat Quarter Shop<\/a> had a red, white, and blue fat quarter bundle called Midsummer Picnic that was perfect for this quilt. It’s sold out now, but it had the perfect number of red and blue fat quarters in it for this quilt. I got all the strips cut out yesterday and started sewing this morning. By lunchtime, I had all these beautiful flag blocks ready to go!<\/p>\n
