A while back, I designed these two blocks in EQ7 and I finally got around to making some test blocks a couple of weeks ago:

After the last quilt market, I bought a fat quarter bundle of the upcoming Grand Canal line by Kate Spain for Moda Fabrics and I had been searching for a pattern to use it on. I think this one will be perfect! I’m going to make one X block and one O block out of each fat quarter. I need 56 total blocks, so I’ll be using 28 fat quarters.

Here are the fat quarters I chose from the bundle:

I pressed all the fat quarters today and I’m hoping to get started cutting tomorrow. I can’t wait! 🙂
