Finished!! – Farm Girl Vintage Anniversary

This is the one year anniversary of the Farm Girl Vintage book by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet. I love this book so much! I finished my Farm Girl Vintage quilt back in October of 2015 and I’ve been looking for a reason to do a few more blocks. Do I really need a reason though? 🙂

Today, Lori posted a birthday cake block to her blog to celebrate the anniversary. It’s so cute!

A new Farm Girl mini-quilt pattern was also released at Fat Quarter Shop. I just love this one! I’m going to have to fit it into my sewing schedule somewhere soon!

I’m hoping for a Farm Boy pattern too or I may try to revise the girl pattern to make one for myself. <3 <3 <3

  1. What a wonderful quilt…no wonder you fell in love! That birthday cake block is so cute, and so is the farm girl mini. It shouldn’t be too hard to make a little farm boy too, but I bet if you wait they’ll come out with one. They’d make the perfect pair of minis.

  2. Oh I love that quilt – I hadn’t seen it before. I got the book for Christmas and vowed to do one block a week. It’s now June and I have 4 blocks … ahem!! Although I have dusted it off just the other day and did print out the cutting instructions for the cake aswell!

    1. I happened to get the Farm Girl Vintage book right at a time that I had nothing else going on, so I got all 40-something blocks made in about three months. I amazed myself! 😀
